Customers of Zásilkovna can collect their parcels in AlzaBoxes
For the first time in history, Alza.cz is allowing another subject – Zásilkovna, to take advantage of its AlzaBoxes due to the current exceptional situation. As of today, Alza will provide Zásilkovna with hundreds of empty slots so that its customers had more options for collection of their consignments. The number of boxes thus provided will be increasing – more than 100 AlzaBoxes will be available in the whole Czech Republic within two weeks.
Customers of Zásilkovna will be able to collect the first pilot parcels at ten locations in Prague – in Prague 8 in Kaufland store, at ÚAN Florenc and at Invalidovna, at the Galerie Fenix, in BB Centrum, at the Nádraží Libeň station, in Horní Počernice, in Globus store in Čakovice and also in Hloubětín. A Prodejna budoucnosti, the one located at Antala Staška street in Prague 4 in particular, has been included in this pilot list.
“Despite the fact that Alza is currently running on a very challenging mode, all has been arranged in such a way that our customers are not impacted by this relief in any way; on the contrary, they can take advantage of the resulting synergies,” Jan Moudřík, Facility and Expansion Director said, and added: “A consignment of several hundreds of additional AlzaBoxes is expected to arrive in a few days, and their purpose is to support our network as much as possible. This is also why we can lend a helping hand to Zásilkovna, and prospectively expand the number of slots to amount to hundreds of further AlzaBoxes. This would mean space for thousands of parcels a day.”
Companies appeal to their customers to kindly collect their goods as soon as possible, thus making the boxes available for other customers. This is still the most popular contactless and safe way of consignment collection.

Consignments can be collected until the midnight of the day following delivery of the consignment. You shall be regularly notified of the delivery process via SMS / e-mail and / or in our Zásilkovna app. You shall be notified six hours before the storage time has elapsed of your last chance to collect your consignment. If you do not collect it within this period, the consignment shall be returned to the sender. We kindly ask you to collect your consignments as soon as possible, thus making the boxes available for other people.
Once the consignment is delivered to an AlzaBox by a courier, you shall receive an SMS and / or notification in the Zásilkovna app where you will find your authorisation code. Enter this code on the display located on the AlzaBox. When you have entered the code, the door of the box with your consignment opens.
Once the storage time has elapsed, the consignment shall be returned to the sender.
Cash on delivery consignment can be delivered to an AlzaBox, however, they must be paid in advance.
Payment is contactless only, comfortably either in the Zásilkovna app, or via a payment gate. The link to the payment gate shall be included in the notification e-mail and / or SMS.

The maximum dimensions of a consignment are: 43 × 33 × 58 cm (width × height × depth).
Yes, all AlzaBoxes are under constant surveillance by a CCTV system, and are equipped with an alarm.
Of course, the consignment can be tracked in our Zásilkovna app or on our website. You shall be regularly informed of the delivery process via an SMS / e-mail or in the app, so that you know exactly when to expect your consignment.
Rest assured that no personal data of our customers shall be shared with Alza. Particular consignment dimensions and tracking numbers are the only pieces of information that will be shared with Alza.
