The Packeta Group, which owns the leading Czech logistics company Zásilkovna and other companies providing services of delivery points, logistics and delivery abroad, recorded a turnover of almost 1.45 billion crowns in the first nine months of this year. In year-on-year comparison, this is an increase of 121%. The number of transported parcels reached 23.5 million, which is a year-on-year increase of 107%. Packeta also significantly increased the number of pick-up points. In the Czech Republic, there are currently almost 4,000 of them, the whole group more than 5,800. This year, Packeta expects a turnover of 2.5 billion crowns and 42 million parcels.

During this year’s third quarter, Packeta opened a new depot in Brno and Jihlava. Jan Došlý, the new sales director of Zásilkovna, joined the group, and Dalibor Svoboda became the director of the new Quality and Processes Department. Trayto, a company focused on automating offers in comparators of goods such as Heureka or Zboží.cz in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, became part of Packeta. Cooperation with a new carrier (FedEx) to the USA has also begun. At the end of September, the group also launched Z-BOXes, non-contact self-sufficient dispensing points powered by a solar panel and controlled via a mobile application. It is a unique device, no one else in the Czech Republic uses dispensing boxes on a similar principle.
