PEOPLE OF PACKETA: David Soukup Becomes Chief Financial Officer of Packeta Group
David Soukup has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Packeta Group, owner of Zásilkovna. He will also be a member of top management and will be involved in the strategic decisions and direction of Packeta. As CFO, he will manage the finance and purchasing department with the aim of achieving the group’s ambitious growth plans. He joins Packeta from the role of Chief Sales Officer of Linet Group.
“David brings vast experience from management positions in business, finance and consulting in international companies to Packeta. I firmly believe that he will be a valid member of the team and will help us to fulfill our plans related to further expansion and growth of the group. Packeta will face further challenges and rapid growth, especially abroad, and the Group’s finance area will be more demanding in this respect. Packeta will also be focusing more on potential further acquisitions.”

David Soukup has previously worked in management positions at companies such as Linet Group, United technologies and Volvo Group and in consulting for McKinsey & Company. He spends his free time primarily with his family and enjoys travelling, tennis, cycling and skiing.
