Packeta shines at CILF 2023 in Shezhen
China International Logistics and Supply Chain Fair 2023

At the end of September, the long-awaited Shenzhen International Logistics and Supply Chain Fair took place after being postponed for several years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Packeta was represented by a sales team led by Jana Macigová, Head of Sales International. Let´s take a look at what it was like to participate as exhibitors in the incredible country of China.

Our custom-designed stand was a big hit for visitors. The feeling of the fair was highly different from those in Europe. Here, everybody wanted to take our business cards, leaflets, print materials, merchandizing—our entire stock for the day was gone within hours.
In general, what we know from the visitors’ evaluation and our co-exhibitors is that this year’s fair was one of the strongest, especially when it came to finding last-mile carriers, possibly due to the fact that CILF had to be postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. So we could say with no shame that Packeta was in the right place at the right time.

🤝 Long-awaited face2face meetings with clients
This year was the first-ever opportunity for Packeta International Head of Sales, Jana Macigová, to meet with several clients from our portfolio in person. Our team managed to visit several respected clients such as BFE, BSI, or Shaoke and the meetings were lovely and deeply appreciated. Furthermore, our sales representatives met with Bangood, OneWay, or Yun Express and discussed how our existing cooperation is going and what steps we can take in the future to nurture it even more and/or develop other business opportunities.
Leads, experiences, opportunities
Overall, the event was a big success for us. We managed to strengthen our position as logistic services provider and spoke to many potential clients. When compared to our last participation at CILF several years ago, this year we could see massive progress—we were no longer the outsider, but rather the player that many representatives heard of through word-of-mouth or were recommended by our existing partners.
During the 1 day, we spoke to over 300 new contacts and from those, gained around 150 solid leads. As well as creating a new contact database for potential future cooperations, we managed to focus on our existing partnerships and deepen our business relationships.
