New services of Hermes
We want our services to be as comfortable as possible for you, which is why, from 18 May 2020, we will be expanding Hermes’ offer in Germany by 16,000 PaketShop dispensing points.
How to post parcels correctly?
From 18 May 2020, parcels must be submitted in the client section via the following carrier IDs:
- Pick-up points – Hermes PP (ID: 6828)
- Delivery to address – Hermes HD (change required from original to new ID no. 6373)
If you submit a parcel for delivery to the address via the original Hermes ID after May 18, it will be automatically redirected and our system will generate the correct label under the new ID (6373).
The price of delivery to the address remains the same. You will find all information on prices, including the maximum value of cash on delivery and insurance conditions, in the client section, or contact your sales representative.
The carrier Hermes offers, among other things, the possibility to send cash on delivery parcels and repeated delivery of parcels. However, due to the carrier’s security measures (COVID-19), these services are temporarily suspended by them. We will notify you in a timely manner once the emergency has passed and Hermes has made its services fully available.
