Limitation of Excess Parcels from January 1st, 2021
Dear Partners,
Starting January 1st, 2021, changes will occur regarding the submission of excess parcels, which exceed the maximum allowed dimensions stated in our Terms of Trade. These types of parcels, due to difficult manipulation, will not be accepted for shipping, and if such a parcel is submitted, we will return it to the consignor.
Excess Parcel
➤ Length of one side over 120 cm
➤ Weight over 10 kg
➤ The sum of all three sides of parcel is over 150 cm (e.g., 60×60×40 cm)
Adjustment of Rules from the New Year
Due to the increase of cases, when a parcel exceeding the maximum allowed dimensions is handed over for shipping, which is in non-compliance with our General Sales Conditions, from the New Year, we will charge the fee 1 000 CZK for the necessity of manipulation with such a parcel and its returning. We are approaching this measure in order to be able to continue to provide above-standard services in shipping standard parcels and oversized parcels that we have defined.
Until the End of December Free of Charge
We will gradually eliminate excess parcels. Until December 31st, 2020, an extra fee will not be charged during the submission of this type of parcel. From January 1st, 2020, when submitting such a parcel, you will receive an e-mail notification informing you of submitting an excess parcel, which is in non-compliance with our shipping conditions, and a return is necessary including a 1 000 CZK charge.
Exceptions When Sending Abroad
Even after January 1st, 2021, we will pick up and hand over excess parcels to foreign carriers. On our labels, which you attach to the parcels, a new box with the destination country will appear:
If the Czech Republic figures as a destination country on the label of the excess parcel, we will NOT ACCEPT it for shipping.
If Slovakia or Hungary figure as the destination country on the label of the excess parcel, the parcel will be directed to a pick-up point, and we will NOT ACCEPT it for shipping.
If Slovakia or Hungary figure as the destination country on the label of the excess parcel with shipping to specific address, or any other foreign country (even with shipping to pick-up point), we ACCEPT it for shipping.
Therefore, if you are sending excess parcels exceeding the allowed dimensions, for example to Poland or Germany, nothing changes for you – you only state the destination country on the label. It is necessary to consider a 1 000 CZK charge/excess parcel.
