FedEx applies a volumetric weight based on which they calculate parcel weight: (WIDTH x LENGTH x HEIGHT) / 5 000 (cm).
Customs information
Same as with parcel shipping to other countries, FedEx is also our customs partner. So it´s important to note:
🇮🇪 Ireland
Even though Ireland is part of the EU, customs declaration is necessary to speed up delivery. You will not be charged duty or VAT, customs declarations are for transit purposes.
🇬🇧 Great Britain
For shipping to the GB, the sender is required to have a GB EORI, GB VAT and EU EORI. Duty and VAT are paid by the sender (the online shop). The sender is responsible for the UK VAT up to 135 GBP; for above 135 GBP, the re-invoicing is done in the same way as with Royal Mail.
Items prohibited from transport
Shipping to Great Britain and Ireland has its limitations and the list of things which are forbidden to transport is quite extensive. We recommend you make sure the items you are shipping are not excluded from transport.
