Client Section Adjustments for Parcel Submission Outside the EU

We know that the entry of customs declarations across countries and carriers has been confusing and complicated in our system. This is why we have decided to integrate and set up the entire section to make it as easy as possible for you to submit parcels outside the EU.  
 
The result is an intuitive customs declaration process. A single, more user-friendly form will be used. The individual data entry fields will be changed automatically based on the requirements of the destination countries and carriers.

Value and Weight of Parcels
Newly, you do not have to enter the value and weight fields anymore because the sum of the values and weights of individual items will be automatically filled in.

News: Choice of Customs Clearance Method
When entering customs declarations, the first thing you will need to do is fill in the customs clearance method. These options will be active depending on the selected carrier and the services it provides. There will be three options to choose from:

1. I have my own customs declaration (I have my own EX.1) 
In case you choose this option, the MRN of the specific EX.1 (i.e. customs export document) has to be filled in and the EX.1 document in PDF format has to be attached.       
 
2. Issuing EX.1 via Zásilkovna 
We will be happy to issue a customs document for you. The charge for this service is 100 CZK per issued EX.1 (including 1 customs code) + 25 CZK for each additional customs code.  
 
3. Postal clearance (without a EX.1 and charges)
 
 
How will this work in practice?
For example, for Switzerland, it will be possible to choose any of the 3 options mentioned above. However, for shipments to the UK, only option 3 will be possible. The same settings apply for shipments to Ukraine and Russia, but in this case, the clearance method can be changed after individual agreement.

Invoice Delivery
You will no longer need to send invoices by email. From 17 June 2021, it will be possible to upload these customs documents directly into our system.

Names of Products
It will be required to fill in the name of the product in English only. Filling in the field for the Czech name of the product will be optional.
