Changes Regarding Delivery to Germany
Dear partners,
We would like to inform you that as of 31 March 2022, we are terminating our cooperation with the German DHL. On the other hand, we are planning to launch cooperation with the carriers GLS and DPD.
What does this mean for you?
- Thursday, March 24 will be the last day that the label of the DHL carrier may appear on parcels you submit to us via the DE BDS service.
- All parcels submitted with a DHL label and are physically handed over to us for shipping by March 30, 2022, will be handed over to the DHL carrier.
- Parcels which reach us with a DHL label after 30 March will be redirected to another carrier within the BDS service.
⚠️ Nothing will change for you or your customers in Germany, except that from April, parcels will be delivered by different carriers instead of DHL.
What news are we preparing for you in Germany?
Something ends, something new begins. We have lots of great news for you in delivery to Germany.
✔️We will soon be offering the option of delivery by the carrier Hermes outside of the BDS as well!
✔️ We are also preparing delivery with completely new carriers – DE GLS and DE DPD!
✔️ Not only the previously mentioned Hermes, but you will also be able to choose GLS for direct delivery, even outside of BDS!
✔️ For the service BDS (Best Delivery Solution or the most advantageous home delivery) we will soon be using the two top German carriers: Hermes and DPD!
