Parcel delivery to Ukraine: Goods prohibited from transport
A large number of shipments containing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances have been inspected and seized by the Ukrainian customs authorities in recent weeks. This includes kratom and similar products. Specifically, the leaves (crushed or whole) of the kratom plant were added to the list of narcotic substances following changes in Ukrainian legislation in November 2024.

According to Article 307 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, the illegal production, acquisition, storage, transport, and/or shipping of narcotic/psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale is punishable by 4 to 8 years’ imprisonment.
Be aware that if the Ukrainian authorities initiate criminal proceedings, we will be obliged to provide them with the identity of the sender.
⚠️ Risk of confiscation or destruction of goods without compensation
- All shipments containing these substances are subject to being destroyed by the delivery provider when marked as prohibited and therefore excluded from transport.
- They may also be seized by local customs without cause.
In such cases, Packeta shall not be liable for any damage incurred, as such products are excluded from transport by our General Terms and Conditions.
⚠️ In the event of a breach of the export ban, we will be forced to block the use of delivery services to Ukraine immediately and without prior notice.
Thank you for understanding.
