Leading Czech logistics company Zásilkovna was the first in the industry to introduce several new designs for its self-service locker boxes. With new white, grey, beige, or green designs, Z-BOXes blend in with their surroundings. Zásilkovna operates the widest network of pick-up points (5 600) and Z-BOXes (4 400) in Czechia; and during the summer, began equipping Z-BOXes with keypads, making them more accessible than ever before.
“The popularity of Z-BOXes continues to grow, customers are very fond of them and that is why we’re working on gradually expanding our network. Our focus is mainly on large cities and densely populated areas. We are currently installing large-capacity Z-BOXes—with 8 or more columns. Large Z-BOXes allow us to serve more customers in one location with respect to the surrounding environment as well,”comments David Soukup, CNO of Packeta.
“Our goal is for everyone to have a Z-BOX handy and accessible. This is one of the reasons why we started installing keypads, they make picking up a parcel even more simple. At the same time, we want Z-BOXes to blend in with their surroundings, to keep the environment around them undisturbed. We came up with several new innovative Z-BOX designs—white, grey, beige, and green—to keep their appearance in a given location as natural as possible. Customers will continue to see our typical red Z-BOXes, but for the newly installed ones, we will always choose the most suitable option for that placement,” adds David Soukup.
In addition to the classic red Z-BOX, customers will soon come across our locker boxes in white, grey, beige, or green. These designs will be applied to new Z-BOX locations, existing ones will only be upgraded on an exceptional basis. Packeta also plans to launch limited edition Z-BOX designs for exclusive cooperations with selected retail partners.
