IRELAND: Fastway bankruptcy – shipping to Ireland continue via AnPost
Dear partners,
We would like to inform you that our current delivery partner for Ireland, Fastway, has stopped its operations with immediate effect. The reason is that its parent company has entered bankruptcy.
To ensure smooth and reliable delivery, we are redirecting all shipments to AnPost, the Irish national postal service.
The service is still available under the same ID, and no changes are required on the e-shop side.
Changes overview
- Label Creation
In our system, we have disabled the option to create shipping labels for the carrier Fastway.
The system has been updated to automatically generate labels for the carrier AnPost.
- Shipments to Ireland
All parcels in our network that have not yet been handed over to Fastway will be relabeled and redirected to AnPost.
- Shipments in the Fastway Network
Fastway will sort these parcels and return them to us. We will relabel them and forward them to AnPost.
We are also trying to redirect shipments that are already in transit or currently with Fastway. Please note that these may experience some delays.
Due to the expected increase in volume, the AnPost network may experience higher demand. We kindly ask for your patience. To avoid possible delays, we recommend using our second delivery partner for Ireland, FedEx.
This is a temporary solution, and we will keep you informed about further steps. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will do our best to ensure that deliveries to Ireland continue to run smoothly.
