Last year was record-breaking for Packeta Group. The number of delivered parcels increased by 40 million year-on-year. Packeta continued to significantly expand its network of pickup boxes in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, surpassing the milestone of one million slots. The network’s growth reflects increasing customer demand for the freedom to choose when to collect their parcels.
In 2025, customers sent parcels via Packeta Group with a total weight exceeding 250,000 tonnes. This corresponds to the weight of approximately 500 million standard books, assuming one book weighs half a kilogram.
The number of delivered parcels last year reached 184 million, including volumes from the Hungarian company Foxpost, now an integral part of Packeta Group. Compared to 145 million parcels in 2024, 2025 became a record year for Packeta, which delivers to 33 countries.
“Over the past year, we expanded our customer portfolio and established new partnerships that confirm the interest of strong brands in our logistics solutions. Key partners include dm drogerie markt, whose customers gained access to thousands of pickup points, Z-BOXes and home delivery options. We also launched cooperation with brands such as Philips, Puma, Sparkys and waterdrop®, and we thank our partners for their trust,” says Erich Čomor, CEO of Packeta Group.
Shipping items from Vinted and Aukro via boxes
Services were also expanded for the online second-hand platform Vinted, allowing users in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary to easily drop off and send sold items via the network of self-service Z-BOXes. Similarly, since last year, items sold on the Aukro platform can also be sent through the boxes in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“Growing volumes have also brought higher demands on operational stability and delivery quality. Throughout the year, we therefore focused not only on further expanding the network but also on strengthening logistics capacity, technology and customer support, so that despite the high growth pace we can offer long-term sustainable and reliable services to both customers and partners,” adds Erich Čomor.
More than one million slots in boxes
In the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Packeta Group now operates over one million slots in pickup boxes. At the end of the year, the group had a total of 12,700 boxes.
“If we placed all Z-BOXes located in the Czech Republic side by side, they would form a line 25 kilometres long. That’s longer than a half marathon,” says David Soukup, Chief Network Officer of Packeta Group.
Growing interest was also recorded in Packeta Group’s mobile app. On the busiest days of the season, nearly sixty users logged in every second. Compared to the previous year, this represents a 20% increase, confirming that customers like to manage deliveries conveniently via their phones.
At the end of 2025, Packeta Group had a total of 2,350 employees across seven countries, with the youngest aged 17 and the oldest 68.
