Changes in shipping requirements to Ukraine: Mandatory EAN fill-in from 1 September 2025

We would like to inform you about a technical change implemented by our delivery partner for shipments to Ukraine.
This change affects you if you send parcels to Ukraine with us. A new mandatory field has been introduced in customs declarations, requiring you to provide the EAN code of the products being shipped.
Starting September 1, it will no longer be possible to submit a parcels to Ukraine without providing the product’s EAN code.
The new field is already available, but filling it out will remain optional until the end of August 2025.
We recommend testing the new setting and preparing for the change. Starting September 1 2025, it will no longer be possible to submit a shipment to Ukraine without providing the product’s EAN code.
The EAN code must consist of 8 to 14 digits, and in the API documentation, it is listed under the name “ean”.
